How can you double a pilsner?" At first sip I thought it was an IPA with its strong hoppy taste. I looked at the dark gold color and noticed the malt undertones and wondered how to classify it. Definately great. Enough said. Maria (6254), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and flower. The mouthfeel is oily like a barley wine. The flavour is NICE! Initially sweetish, but then comes the notes of malt, fresh bread, fruit, flower and a nice bitterness. The alcohol is neither seen nor heard, so to speak. It’s a truly nice pilsner, impressing, in fact! 1860 ante (2942), Stockholm, Sweden

Perfumy aroma of peaches and orange marmelade with crisp undertones of minerals, flowers and bread. Full flavour of oily grassy hops, apricots and peaches with a long finish of orange-peels, grass, neutral yeast and bread. Cool beer! SledgeJr (2961), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Perfume, straw, and cotton candy to the aroma. Spicy hop burn on the tongue with lots of malt. Crisper finish than a big beer should have. beachbum25 (786), Powellville, Maryland, USA

Sweet flavor of corn & sugar. Not a very complex brew. Short bitter finish, nothing wrong w/it, but definatly nothing special-spent more money on the bottle than the beer? Don’t bother to seek it out-another miss from a very hit & miss Brewery. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
