Simply a brilliant combination of cascade flavour and aroma, chocolate, and roast. And much more easy drinking than I was expecting.

Bottle from bevmo.. Pours black with a light brown head.. Smells like chocolate and beef jerky...Flavor is chocolate smoke and kinda salty.. A little over carbonated for me but it was still pretty good.

Pours an opaque black with a dark tan head. Strong roasted aroma with solid malt backing. Nice hop aroma. Hopped with Cascades, although this isn’t readily apparent. Some yeast in the nose although quite subdued. Strong roast flavor with underlying dark chocolate notes. Full hop bitterness and moderate flavor. Silky mouthfeel. Full body. Very creamy. One of my favorite stouts.

Had this beauty on tap. Very smooth and tasty hints of coffee perhaps taffy. the small cream head goes quickly but this dark blend finishes even better then the start. Partial to this style of beer.

This stout pours black in color with a nice tan great fluffy head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee on the nose. Full bodied, smoky, and rich. I imagine this would be great with a rich chocolate dessert, or even with a scoop of old fashioned vanilla ice cream in it.

Black pour with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, and chocolate. Flavor is sweet with a slightly sour finish. Mostly caramel and chocolate flavor, not too much coffee.

On tap at Rogue Ales Public House in SF. Black color with a creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and hops. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, toast, and a little chocolate although not nearly as assertive as in their chocolate stout. Nice oatmeal smoothness on the palate. Fairly full body.
