| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Pours black with a thin, tan, disappearing head and some frivolous lacing. The aroma is pleasant but not terribly strong and consists of warm sugars, toffee and malt. Tastes of burnt coffee and sweet malt with some hops surfacing later on. Small amount of bitter chocolate at the very end. Overall a very nice stout, but not my favorite. ttutony (69), Texas, USA

Pours a very dark brown almost black in color with a small foamy beige head. Aroma of malts, chocolate and dark fruit. Taste of rich malts, chocolate, dark coffee and hops. Mouthfeel is thin for a stout, yet smooth with some prickly carbonation and hoppy bite at the finish. Overall, very pleasant and easy to drink !!! Oddefellowe (38), Tampa, Florida, USA
