Bottle. Poured an opaque dark brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma is sweet and chocolatey. Roast and charred malt on the tongue with hints of richer smoke. The cascade is evident, particularly in the finish where it washes over the more prounounced burnt toast character of the toasted malts. Medium bodied, well carbonated with a dry lingering aftertaste.

Tan head that settles quickly. Smells of roasted coffee and sweet malt. Taste is bitter but sweet with coffee/dark chocolate but not overdone. Aftertaste is pleasant hops. This is a nice beer.

The nose is of caramelized malt with toasted coffee and sweet dove chocolate. The appearance is a dark black with a thin tan head and some streaks along the sides of the glass. Initially it has a bitter sweet flavor and you can really taste the dark malts used and the toasted oats. The hops leave a nice impression on the palate and there is also a coating of roasted coffee left on the sides of the mouth. Overall it has a nice texture and a good amount of carbonation.

Kind of has an earthy hint to the taste. Chocolaty, but not too much. Not too bitter either. I like it

Pours black with a really nice tan head. There is nothing wrong with the way this beer looks in a glass. The aroma is pretty dissappointing; Notes of smokey malts gives way to bitter chocolate the more it warms up. The taste is diluted dark chocolate. Dissapointing, watery mouthfeel.

Bomber. Pours a dark brown with a large, tan head. Aromas are chocolate, maybe oats and grain dust and a touch of pine hops. Flavor is similar to nose, but it isn’t a very full palate, which makes it fairly disappointing.
