Nice stout. Deep roasted aroma and flavor. Smooth finish with a nice balance of malt, coffee roast, and hop. Well done.

I am a big fan of porters and stouts and this one is a winner. Dark beer with a nice brown head. Roasted chocolate and caramel taste. I have been thoroughly impressed with Rogue brews.

Black pour with brown head; aroma has caramel, roasted malt, and a little bit of hops. Tastes of roasted malt and coffee with bitter chocolate finish, nothing very sweet here. Very close to having a bit of licorice in flavor. Medium palate with creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation; very drinkable.

I have overlooked this beer for too long. Finally i tried it and it was a great beer. Pours dark with little head. Tastes strongly of roasted malt with an aftertaste of sweetness, almost chocolate. Does not end abruptly like lighter "stouts." This was truly a stout and kept the taste on your palate after the drink. Overall a great beer.

Flaske. Kulsort øl. Meget frugtrig duft med en snert af amerikansk humle. Fantastisk smag. Måtte gerne have været lidt mere brændt men ellers perfekt. Virkelig positivt overrasket over denne fantastiske stout.

65 cl bottle, at my «Hopheads» tasting. Black color, brown head. Aroma is hoppy with roasted malt. Flavor is coffee, chocolate and some bitterness. Very nice!

Tart and bubbly, plenty of chocolate and coffee notes. Less full than some of my favorites (of the more imperial variety) but tasty.

Bomber. Pours a very dark brown with a nice tan head that subsides rather quickly. The aroma is a lot of coffee and chocolate with a little bit of toffee. Heavy roasted malt taste gives way to coffee with a touch of chocolate. Pretty good, but a little too roasted in the taste, almost burned, and lingers nicely.
