Pours a dark cola brown brew with a light beige head that has some good retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee, dark pitted fruits, some toasted oatmeal and flowery hops. Taste is full bodied, light carbonation with flavors of more toasted dark malt than detected in the aroma with some coffee, chocolate and molasses. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee and a hint of dry fruit. Flavor is fruity, roasted malt with coffee and mocha. Nice balanced, not to sweet and perfect dry bitter finish.

A 1 pt 6 oz bottle purchased at Westside Discount Licquor, St. Cloud, MN. Poors black with a lovely tan head1.25 fingers hig that is just staying there. Definately smelling malt and roasted mocha. First sip. You lip passes through the head with just a lite tickel, and then, Strong chocolate malt, coffee, more chocolate and then a slightly bitter finish that leaves your mouth just dry enough to beg for the next sip. Good aroma of dark malts sets up a great taste of roasted malt and smokiness. There’s a hint of oatmeal in the smooth, dry finish. A good dark stout with a great roasted flavour.
