Got this at Winooski Beverage- 650ml. As soon as my friend took a sip of this he uttered "This may be my favorite beer of all time." While I may not go quite that far, I agree that this stout is absolutely delicious. Perfect hop content and malt character define the essence of this beer. Not complex, but wonderful for what it is.

First had on tap with Nitrogen. Creamy smooth head that lasted throughout the time I consumed the drink. Hints of chocolate, light coffee, and spice. Good overall beer. Might buy again but it wasn’t my favorite stout. Could use more bite in my opinion.

Sampler at San Francisco Rogue Public House. Ohhh....this is gooood! Jet black body, with a quick receding off-white head. Classic stout aromas in the nose, accented with a fruity sweetness. Lots of chocolate in the flavour, along with coffee and hops. Satisfyingly thick on the palate.

[761-20071015] 650mL. Boozy caramel cake aroma has a hint of chocolate and rum raisin. Black body with a long-lasting creamy tan head. Plummy raisin alcohol flavour has roasted malt mocha and a dark fruit finish. Medium-full body. Great stout.

Frothy with collapsing head. Creamy mouthfeal but not to heavy. Taste is nutty and chocolate. Very dry hoppy finish.

Pours out a thicker dark brown color. Has a nice deep brown head. aroma is very malty and chocolaty with a touch of sweetness. flavor is the same, but seemed a bit dry when it was colder. As it warmed, the flavor became much for enjoyable. Overall, this was a nice beer indeed.
