An opaque brown beer with a collapsing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate and coffee, while the flavor primarily is sweet with coffee notes, leading to a dry roasted end.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pitch black with a small, creamy cappuchino style head. Roasted, vaguely coffeeish nose. Very malty, roasted flavours with distinct notes of coffee and perhaps a wee touch of chocolate. 031205

very solid and full - deep black colour, and deep chocolate and mocha notes. Long, hoppy finish. Complex and delicious.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours perfectly dark brown to black with a dense chocolate brown head. Aroma is of caramel, chocolate and mild roasted malt, all in a nice blend with a slight wet woody hops note. Flavour is medium sweet with a solid liqourice note all the way through, mixed with a light coffee note. Shows a light spiced/ashtray like note to a smooth chocolate malt and roasted malt base. Slowly building bitterness and mild fruity hops note into the finish.
