Bottle. Pours a hazy ugly turbid orange body with a white head. Some light wheat notes of citrus, flower, and earthy tones with a boring malt bill. Light lemon note and a sweet finish. Eh not so good.

Enjoyed on tap in a pub glass. The beer pours a bright but hazy orange, with a long-lasting white head. The nose gives flavors of orange zest, banana, some phenols from the hefeweizen yeast, and some malt sweetness. The palate is a bit thin, but is nicely complex, with a refined malt character that is complimented by citrus, and a slight touch of esters from the yeast, along with some smoothness from what had to have been wheat malt. Overall, I enjoyed this beer far more than some traditional and highly rated German hefeweizens. Well done.

22 oz. bottle from Greens on Buford Highway. Nice bright orange color. Head fades away quickly. Nice looking beer. A crappy malt/sweet/ slight hop aroma. The beer doesn’t have that good of an aroma, but it has a decent aroma.Slight honey sweet aroma, but not a very pungent aroma. Not a bad taste, but not an excellent one. Slight sweet aroma, but it is not very specific. I can’t pick out the flavors specifically. The beer is sweet, but there is not a flavor that stands out. Overall, decent beer. The honey doesn’t stand out that well. I can’t understand what happened to this beer.

Bottle pours cloudy yellow with a light white head. Aroma of most other Rogues: their proprietary top fermenting Pacman yeast. Same aroma as most of their others. Thin sweet body with a bit of orange. Not much else to say here.

Athens, Ga. - Five Points Bottle Shop - 22 oz bomber. Been a while since I had a Rogue that was not a re-label - hesitated to pick it up. Medium golden murky pour with a sticky snow white head that sticks around quite a while. Fresh aroma with a yeasty-lemony bent to it - rather nice. Good wholesome flavor with a lot of lemony goodness, some honey sweetness, a bit of sweet cake mix and a back end yeastiness. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. A solid offering from Rogue. More like a saison than a fruit beer in my opinion.

Hazy gold with fair white head / Nose of wheat, yeast and lemon / Light body, slightly sweet, crisp, with mild malts and hops, and good finish / Flavors of wheat, orange, lemon, and honey / A light wheat, but with a little extra.

Aroma - very light orange. Appearance - cloudy orange with small a disappointing/dissipating head. Flavor - is very light, refreshing with a slightly sweet unfiltered orange taste. Palate - light body, average carbonation. Overall impression -

22oz bottle purchased at Jungle Jim’s. Cloudy yellow pour with a medium white head. Sweet and wheat malt aroma with a bit of orange. Honey flavor up front with creamy malt and some citrus on the back end. I guess it’s not bad in terms of refreshment, but there are so many other refreshing beers that top this one.
