In the nose, a mild scent of straw and hay are smelt with no other characteristics to mention other than that really. The flavor is harsh with grassy sour notes whether it is from the grained like taste of the malts or some earthy hops. Regardless the flavor does allow for a bit of orange peel and organic herbal honey or tea flavors to be tasted, but to weak

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 26, 2009 bottle - Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. It has a mild aroma of orange and wheat. The flavor is light and sweet with oranges that are obvious but not overwhelming and a touch of honey. It has a light, bubbly body. There’s just not much going here. It’s kind of bland. Okay, but not worth the Rogue bomber price ($6 from a liquor store). BVery (512), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2009 BOTTLE: light semi-hazy yellow pour. Nose of wheat, orange, coriander. Same thing on taste, very low/no hop profile, easy-drinking/decent but not terrific. Nothing offensive about this, but nothing memorable either. garthicus (1307), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hazy light gold, large, lasting frothy white head. Dry, grassy aroma, slightly vegetal. Taste is simple, not vegetal - grassy with a hint of honey. Light, somewhat chewy mouthfeel, mild carbonation, and a quick finish. Meh. thornecb (1794), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Bottle… Pours mostly clear and yellow with a large, delicate, white head. Excellent, tight retention. The nose is mostly soapy, but also provides very mild notes of coriander and chamomile. Medium-bodied with a thin mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. Leans just a hair toward the bitter side of balance, featuring herbal, peppery hops. Crisp, mostly clean finish. Not much going on here, but it goes well with Thai chicken stir-fry. kkearn (1010), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 22, 2009 22oz bottle. Pours translucent yellow, topped with a modest sized off white head. Aroma is sweet, with grain and honey the primary components, and background notes of honey, flowers, and orange rind. Pale malt, lemon, and wheat hit the palate first, and are then joined by a little honey and lavender. Sweet, floral finish. Pretty boring.
