I was very happy to find this - the timing is perfect. Brew has a very light nose, one can only make out a dust of spice, and - lo and behold some orange - upon pour. The brew is a sparkling clear straw. The mostly lasting frothy white head has very light lace. I’m not ashamed to admit that at first I thought this tasted like a Kolsh. After a few more sips though, this reminded me of an Orval, but a little less subtly brilliant. The long lasting finish is both spicy and bitter. The brew has heavy acidity and good balance. The light body is surprisingly soft and dry. Perfect for July. High five - great sucess.

Aroma is lightly grainy, some honey, wheat, yeast and citrus.
Flavour is floral, lightly sweet, honey, wheat.
Smooth mouth, med/light body, mod carb.
Finishes sweet, some honey, wheat.
Sub par for Rogue but bonus marks for being highly drinkable and refreshing.

Pours a cloudy golden colored body, with no head. Has a spicy sweet aroma, strong honey and sweet spices. Orange. Fizzy. Sweet spicy taste, honey. Carbonated, sweet spicy. strong honey sweet taste. Light and flowery tasting.

Nov 26, 2009 bottle - Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. It has a mild aroma of orange and wheat. The flavor is light and sweet with oranges that are obvious but not overwhelming and a touch of honey. It has a light, bubbly body. There’s just not much going here. It’s kind of bland. Okay, but not worth the Rogue bomber price ($6 from a liquor store).

Nov 21, 2009 BOTTLE: light semi-hazy yellow pour. Nose of wheat, orange, coriander. Same thing on taste, very low/no hop profile, easy-drinking/decent but not terrific. Nothing offensive about this, but nothing memorable either.

Nov 19, 2009 Bottle ( 22oz ). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Hazy light gold, large, lasting frothy white head. Dry, grassy aroma, slightly vegetal. Taste is simple, not vegetal - grassy with a hint of honey. Light, somewhat chewy mouthfeel, mild carbonation, and a quick finish. Meh.

Nov 15, 2009 Bottle… Pours mostly clear and yellow with a large, delicate, white head. Excellent, tight retention. The nose is mostly soapy, but also provides very mild notes of coriander and chamomile. Medium-bodied with a thin mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. Leans just a hair toward the bitter side of balance, featuring herbal, peppery hops. Crisp, mostly clean finish. Not much going on here, but it goes well with Thai chicken stir-fry.
