Aroma is sweet with a lot of citrus overtop of floral hops. Flavor begins with a juicy citrus flavor but quickly you taste the floral and peppery hops. Very dry through the middle and a very lingering bitter finish. A bit too dry and bitter for me, but nicely crafted. Birdiebeagle (807), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Bottle Pours a cloudy gold with a good off white head. The head is creamy and lasting. Leaves spotty lacing. Has a good aroma of spruce, floral hops, and a touch astringent. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is hoppy and good bitterness. Gives a nice burn. Has a resiny texture. Has a medium body. The finish is real good and has an awesome aftertaste. This is a darn good beer. NJBeerman013 (782), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 14, 2009 22 oz bottle. Pours a yellowish amber in color with a cloud-like pure white head. It has a floral, citrus aroma. Flavors change from an astringent phenolic character to a mild citrus with a sweet malty part in the finish. monkeychugg55 (239), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a small, sticky white head. Aroma of floral and woody hops, slightly peppery, with a light vegetable smell. Sweet, light malt fades to bitter, woody, floral hops that linger awhile. Can definitely detect the Willamette hops, which I am not a huge fan of. Still a good brew. Derek881 (497), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Poured the beer from a large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a strong citrus and grainy hops aroma with some spices too and a bit of malt. The color was a cloudy amber with a smallish creamy white head with light retention and cling. It was a grainy bitter beer, with a touch of sourness too, good flavor. The beer was lively and fizzy with good carbonation and a filling mouthfeel, and was on the wetter side. Tasted @ 65.5°F from the 22 OZ. bottle. Wicked hoppy from the start. Bitter finish. A classic strong IPA.
DOES NOT TASTE LIKE YELLOW SNOW, OR EVEN CORONA. PWheatley (39), , Quebec, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 13, 2009 650ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with frothy head. Overwhelming hop aroma, all hops. Very tasty with a bitter after taste. As usual Rouge is on the edge with the use of the powerful hops. MMMM good. AR (435), Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Very strong hop flavoring. This is a little more than I prefer and would not want to drink too much of this at one time. There was also alot of grassy flavors to the beer.
