Pours light copper in colour, with decent white head, which leaves nice, fine lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet, malty. Taste is slightly caramel, with good hop finish. A nicely balanced IPA. glennmastrange (861), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Bottle. Light malt aromas of light bread, straw and roasted, moderate to heavy hops of grapefruit and lemon peel, light leather and soap for the yeast, and faint hints of peach and pepper. Head is small, creamy/frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky orange. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side medium, slightly oily with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. This is a crisp, bitter and bitey IPA, great for chasing down any kind of beef dish. Why is this beer so hard to find? nate2g (1119), Brisbane, Australia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Draught at The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Hazy golden with a massive frothy off-white head. Great lacing around the glass. Fantastic aroma and flavours of tropical fruits, pine needles, citrus and biscuity malt. Great balance and a smooth bitter mouthfeel. Finishes fruity and more pine. A dangerously drinkable IPA...excellent! Frothmeister (20), Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 20, 2009 650ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange / amber with a decent head that sticks around. Massive candied orange peel, grapefruit on the nose. A little peach. Beautiful. As for taste LOTS of grapefruit. LOTS. Tropical fruits too. Confirms my love of West Coast styled American IPA’s. rabba9 (71), Chaska, Minnesota, USA

Aroma is heavy on citrus and floral hops. Tastes like citrus and grapefruit with a moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable IPA and interesting to try a single hopped amarillo IPA. illkarate (91), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with nice off-white head. Flavors of grapefruit, resin, pine and a bit of an alcohol burn. Good, clean finish. Nice IPA, not world class... but nice. BigBang (213), Indiana, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2009 (bottle - 22 oz) Hazy orange pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet with a lot of citrus overtop of floral hops. Flavor begins with a juicy citrus flavor but quickly you taste the floral and peppery hops. Very dry through the middle and a very lingering bitter finish. A bit too dry and bitter for me, but nicely crafted.
