Transparent golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty lemony nose. Malty hay aroma, some grain and cheesy chrisp notes. Bitter hoppy finish and long lasting bitter aftertaste. Very nice beer.
Ober (403), Best, Netherlands Oct 5, 2008 At Pražský Most U Valsů in Prague. A clear golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of malts, yeast, fruits like citrus. The taste is fresh malty, fruity like orange and a little citrus. The aftertaste is some bitter and it stays for awhile. downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Oct 4, 2008 On tap at Pražský Most U Valsů 24/9/08. Good. asheft (978), Marburg, Germany Aug 29, 2008 [tap at blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy]
Creamy, vitaminy aroma with some rancid hops. Nice bright copper with a dense white foam top and effervescent. Pleasant 2-row malt flavour with not quite enough hops. Peppery with medium bitterness. Medium to full body--almost chewy--a little lasting bitterness in the finish. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Grainy aroma with mild caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavor with caramel, malty and hoppy notes. Ends bitter. ChristianScheffel (2250), Odense, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 Clear golden with a lasting white head, leaving some lace. Weak but clean aroma of grassy hops. Malty sweet flavour with some hop notes, but could use more bitterness.
