Aroma is light but sweet with raspberry, citrusy hops and caramel. Medium body. Soft malt profile accompanied by a nice hop forward flavor. Hints of citrus fruits and pine. Very nice. Apparently this was barrel aged for six months. swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 31, 2008 I stopped to Rohrbach’s today to celebrate getting a new job. The aroma was filled with alcohol and hops. Flavor is hoppy with some sweetness. There is some malty smoothness but hops are more prevalent. jb (1052), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Made a stop here today to the Rohrbach’s main location to try this one. Not disappointed, Orange color, very malty aroma with some alcohol present. Flavor is very rich, full, sweet, caramel present, malt, and loads of hops to keep this honest, but it still leads heavily to ’sweet’. No alcohol detected in palate, but it is there. zach8270 (2121), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2008 (cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Dark copper in color with a soapy tan head. Aroma is rich and malty with a light hint of earth-notes and hops. Flavor is smooth and very hoppy, almost surprisingly so for a barley wine, with a smooth malt finish and a light bitter aftertaste that hangs on for a little bit in your mouth. I don’t know the ABV but it had a really nice kick at the end.
