Commercial Description:
Named after a renowned drinker of Genesee Cream Ale (and possibly one of the brewers’ fathers), Dickie’s Cream Ale is true to style and character. Instead of an ale and a lager blended together, this cream ale is fermented at low ale temperatures and then cold-conditioned. Brewed with Gambrinus Honey Malt and served on nitrogen to give the beer a softer mouthfeel and a majestic creamy head; Dickie’s Cream Ale finishes dry and crisp with the long-lasting bitterness of Amarillo hops. 5.6% ABV

Draft. Pours golden with a white head. Pale malty aroma with a light sweetness and a light hop presence. Well balanced flavor with a low amount of sweetness and a touch of floral hops. Not bad.

Rohrbach Dickie’s Cream Ale is a clear golden ale with a dense, creamy, off white head that fades to a film and leaves good lacing on the glass. It smells herbal, minty, fruity and grainy, with notes of lemon and corn. It is medium or medium-light bodied and very smooth with a pretty clean finish. It starts a touch sweet, gets a little lemony and the finish and aftertaste are lightly bitter. It’s an inoffensive session ale.

Standard ale look with a decent head that quickly left. Aroma had some sweetness. After having several other types of beer first tonight, this one seemed thin and no very flavorful. Little hops. Average Cream Ale.

Excellent looking when poured, Fluffy white head, cloudy middle, clear dark yellow bottom, settled out so it was all clear after a while. A sweet nose, with some honey. Palate was creamy, imagine that, it had a nice mouthfeel, though was also a bit gritty at times, with some hoppiness, neutral finish, okay.
