Rohrbach Dopple Bock

Pours with a dark brown to black body topped by a medium thick head with good lace. Slightly sweet and malt aroma with fruity notes. Slightly sweet malt flavor with some fruity and licorice notes and a very slight smokiness. Medium to full bodied.

Dark orange pour, minimal head. Nose is baked bread, some esters, slight alcoholic aroma. Palate was mostly maple. Not a lot of complexity -- maybe I didn’t let it warm and linger enough, but still, a decent effort.
