yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 9, 2008 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a dense light off-white head. Cornish and light spiced aroma. Breadish and slight spiced flavour. Medium dry malt base. Ends light breadish and with a mild bitterness. slimchill (773), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 31, 2007 Draught. Sweet borderline caramel malt, mellow and unimpressive. Clear golden, fluffy white head. Thin and uncomplex. Light sweetness is barely perceptable. Comments: Straightforward grainy ale with smooth hops. A most drinkable offering.
omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 18, 2006 [Draught at the brewpub] Clear brownish amber, creamy head.Caramelly malt aroma. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel and medium body. The low hop rate gives plenty of room for the malt. Finishes with low bitterness and notes of toffee. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 3, 2004 Sampled at the breweries sampling cafe in Rome, Italy.
Red.
Interesting nose. Spicy, citrus like whiffs but what dominates is the sprice and pine notes.
Unmistakably odd but what a beer. Hoppy as hell. The hop notes dominate providing notes of spruce, pine, resin and orange but what is interesting about this beer is its malt backbone. It’s kind of meaty, soft of husky and full of caramel.
Once again Mike!
