Aroma isn’t bad with a little woodiness. However, the flavor leaves much to be desired. I’ll go past others that said disappointing. It was downright retched. Tasted seriously off, maybe infected in some way. Definitely not a good first impression of this brewery. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Good head over a clear brown body.
Fragrant sweet aroma.
Sour off-putting flavor that wasn’t hinted at in the aroma.

Murky brown color. Sharply sweet aroma with fusel alcohol hints. Creamy slick body with somewhat watery. Lightly sweet malts with some cotton candy like hints. The only saving grace is the lightly citrus bitter finish (very light). Gritty mouth feel. Nothing I’ll be having again. aracauna (2425), Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 29, 2006 This pours a dark brown. Despite the name, there’s not a whole lot of hops to be found. There’s the smell of rotten apples. It wasn’t undrinkable, but the brewery is still struggling with serious off flavors.
