hazy brown, thin beige head, light malt aroma and flavor, hint of chocolate, touch of sweetness, lactic still comes through the malt, would make an ok brown without the infection

This was not a stout. Not even close. Interesting choice calling a stout summer wallop first of all. Secondly, this looked like a brown ale, smelled like a pale ale, and tasted like a lager-amber mix. Agreed with aracuana that this MIGHT if it was lucky be able to pass for a brown ale but they should never have put in the description on the menu that it is similar to Guinness.

Ah, so this is what they call a stout. well it had the look of a brown ale, but it barely even sacked up to being that. I got a watery malty nutty feel to it, but a little bit of sourness in it also. This kind of tasted like coronoa on roids.

This is a stout? Yeah right. It could actually pass for an ok brown ale, but nothing more. Medium brown body with an ok head. Malty aroma. The dark malts cover up any of the cider flavor there may be from the added sugar. I also don’t get the tartness in this one that the others had (maybe this one was successfully prevented from infection). I’ll admit that I would have scored this beer a little higher had it been labeled a brown ale, but even in that category it could only score so well.
