Commercial Description:
Caramel in color, you can taste American citrusy hops throughout. Nice caramel malt flavor. Some say there are hints of fruit.

On draft at brewpub. Poured hazy amber in color with no head. Aroma of caramel and metal? The taste was of strong caramel, nuts, grain, and maybe a little hops in the finish. This one had no carbonation and seemed a bit thin.

(cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Dark and murky amber color. Aroma is light and sweet with a hint of hops. Flavor is very earthy with some smooth caramel malts and a mild hop finish at the end of it. Aftertaste is lightly crisp and sweet.

Just a standard amber ale. The aftertaste though was unusual. Kind of like nuts had been ground into the beer. Perhaps I had a dirty glass?

A good way to celebrate my 1000th rated beer is by going to this brew pub. Food was great too! Clean dark amber colour with tan head. Malt aroma, fiant but there. and a little flowery hops is present as well. Slight wine like flavour, sweet malts, light bitter hops. Slight dry palate. Overall decent.
