(cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Dark and murky amber color. Aroma is light and sweet with a hint of hops. Flavor is very earthy with some smooth caramel malts and a mild hop finish at the end of it. Aftertaste is lightly crisp and sweet.

Sep 18, 2008 On draft at the brewpub. Quite a sweet amber ale. Cloudy and loaded with aged cascade hops giving it the benefits of hops without the would-be extreme hop bite. Sadly this was not for me though.....

Aug 17, 2008 On draft at brewpub. Poured hazy amber in color with no head. Aroma of caramel and metal? The taste was of strong caramel, nuts, grain, and maybe a little hops in the finish. This one had no carbonation and seemed a bit thin.

Sep 24, 2007 Just a standard amber ale. The aftertaste though was unusual. Kind of like nuts had been ground into the beer. Perhaps I had a dirty glass?
