YellowMellow (6), England does not count Feb 2, 2006 Cask at Derby Winter ales festival. Light golden colour. Aroma: gingernut biscuits and almonds. Tasted more like a white wime than a beer in some ways. Light palate, sweetish, light fruits, possibly lemongrass? The aftertaste was more warming and traditionally ’beery’. I loved this although I can see that hardcore beer fans might not. leaparsons (4001), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jan 13, 2006 Cask, Derby Winter Fest 06. Hazy gold with a white head. Aromas are sweet lemon and some spices. Flavours are sweet lemon, dry with a light malt base. A slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Quite thin. The aroma is fruity and dry and the flavour is nicely dry and pale. Overall a good pale beer.
