douglas88 (745), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub in Ogden, Utah. Pours a clear orange body with a tiny white head. The aroma was very light malts. The taste was dominated by a full malt which is quite sweet, and frankly kind of odd. I’ve had beers taste like this before, it reminds me of glue. Yes, I’ve tasted glue. Some zesty lemon and citrus also. I will re-rate this soon, it may be much better than I think currently, but I didn’t enjoy this one much.
BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 29, 2008 Tap @ brewpub - Dark hazy amber pour, with a small white head and some sticky lacing. Sour, black tea nose with lots of diacetyl. Steeped grainy taste that comes across as being not being steeped to the proper temperature and time, and indeed has a taste of being steamed. Finishes very grainy with more iced tea flavors . Absolutely unimpressive.
