Pale golden, poured with a hand pump and sparkler so had a tight white head but still managed to deliver an excellent dry hopped floral aroma. Hop flavours come thick and fast, more piney, floral than citrus than some on a base thats drier than some americen IPAs similar to this. Line them up this is good.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford during recent international beer fest. A golden coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is big on the hops with plenty of grapefruit. Again very hoppy in the taste. Almost raspingly bitter, but that’s because it’s lacking a malt body. I was really looking forward to this one but compared to the California double IPA it seemed somewhat light weight.

Cask, JDW, 4th April 2008. Deep gold with littel carbonation. Hoppy aroma and a subtle fruity taste of nectarines and peaches.Very drinkable for a 5% beer. Decent stuff.

JDW, Rochester. An APA with a firm dose of American hops. Pleasant sweet malt. There’s nothing special here, but it’s nicely done.

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Hazy gold with a small off white foam. Aromas are fruity, hoppy and floral. Sweet lemon and green hops. Flavours are sweet biscuit malts with lots of sweet fruitiness. Fruit cocktail and grapefruit with green spicy hops. Syrupy and viscous with a prickly finish and surprisingly warming alcohol. Seem stronger than its %. Great.
