[CASK: The Waterhouse, Manchester 18/04/07] A fruty ale tha\t has nothing special to rave about. Medium drinking enjoyment from a reasonableish ale. Only fair!

Cask. Very pale, like a hazy lager. Flowery hops and fine malty body, it’s beers like this that made me an anglophile. Not packed with flavour, this is for full pints and large gulps. Some citrus, dry finish.

Hops, hops and more hops. Beautiful golden colour, smells absolutely delicious and has a wonderful taste and texture. Quite bitter, but has one of the longest, nicest aftertastes around. Possibly one of the best beers in the world.

Cask at The Waters Green Tavern Macclesfield. Clear gold with a decent white head. Fruity and hoppy smell and obvious citrus and hops in the flavour. It was a fruity and hoppy brew basically. Very drinkable and nice.

Dispensary, Liverpool. Light amber colour with a creamy white head. Fragrant, hoppy, fruity aroma. Clean tasting and quite soft; flavour was grassy hop and citrus. Not bad at all.
