Tap @ Brewpub: Copper color, no head or lacing. Nose of grassy hay and juniper, some mellow citrus and vanilla musky notes. Flavor of dirty spice, decent body but a creamy herb and lacking character.

Glowing yellow with little to no head. Flavors of honey, bread, biscuits. Some pleasing herbal notes in the finish and some floweriness.

On tap at the Roots brewpub during ABA Beer Tour 07. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a very fast dissolving white head. By the time I got the sample try the head was gone. Aroma of very light multi-grain bread, earthy hops and some yeast. Taste is very dry, hardly any carbonation, light bodied with flavors of dry grain, green tea and some roasted nuts. Finish is very dry, with an iced tea aftertaste. This one is a different brew to remember by.

Unique from nose to finish. Varies from one batch to the next. A bright luminescent golden yellow hue with no head. Bright and sweet while finishing quite nicely for a no-hop heer. Heather tips were fragrant and loving. Yum!

This one gets the award for most unique beer I’ve had... No hops, just heather tips. Tastes like, you guessed it, flowers! But in a good way. Very light taste matched its light coloration. Danced off the palate with intense foaming action. My buddy had too many of these and puked up rose pedals!

On tap at Roots, Portland. Red/copper colour with no head. Fragrant aroma. Heather notes in mouth, but sound malt as well carries it off. Really quite heathery. Perfumed. But hey it does work. Good everything else.
