Roots Organic Heather’s Naughty Sister

Great beer for an island theme brewery. Pours a golden color with a nice frothy head. Sweet, but not overly so. Paired well with my jerk chicken sandwich.

This seemed pretty spot on for the style. Tap @ Roots... Poured clear golden with a frothy white head that retained nicely. Spiced aroma with nutmeg and malt grains. Well carbonatd and foamy palate. Pumpkin and nutmeg flavors, a little hop bitterness with lingering malt in the finish and also some lavender. Other yeast, cake-like notes that created a slight sweetness to the brew. Reminded me of a better Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale.
