Commercial Description:
Roots Organic Brewery is supporting the work of Portland-based Center for Environmental Equity. CEE is a Portland-based non-profit that successfully petitioned the EPA to secure funding to clean up the abandoned Formosa Silver Butte Mine. Formosa Silver Butte has released millions of gallons of heavy-metal laden, acid-mine drainage into the Umpqua River watershed. For this reason, Roots will donate 10% percent of Nevermined Pale Ale sales to CEE. which is currently targeting two other abandoned mines in Oregon for cleanup.

Tap@Brewpub. Floral and perfume aroma. Yellow colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, perfume, flowers, light malty. Soft mouthfeel with a dryish finish. Flavourful and great session ale.

Pale on tap at Roots Organic Brewing in SE Portland, OR--Poured a hazy orange-golden body with a medium-sized white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with a spicy bite to it. Crisp and dry in the finish and overall quite good.

On tap at hamiltons. Pours with an amber-gold body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. It’s bitter and hoppy with a nice pine note and a sweet biscuity malt undertone. Medium bodied, well carbonated and a touch dry.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a tall white head. Big fruity hop nose. This was a really nice pale, not over the top with hops, just floral and fresh with tropical fruit and citrus notes in the nose. Balanced and crisp, with a dry finish. Very sessionable beer that I enjoyed even more then their regular pale.
