jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands May 9, 2009 Tap@Brewpub. Strong aroma of licorice, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Opaque colour, light brown head, good lace. Sweet, citric, lactic leaning towards vinegar, some dark malt flavours as well. Light sticky, astringent. I’ve been in doubt whether I liked it or not for quite some time and decided I didn’t. The sourness was too much like an infection instead of intended. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 22, 2009 Tap @ Roots... Poured deep, reddish/brown with a thick, beige head. Aroma of charred veggies and sweet malts. Dry palate that was very light feeling. Crisp, brown sugar flavors. Became creamy towards the end. Finished with bread-like flavors with a nice, tart sourness.
