Pint - Jakes Bar & Bistro - Steilacoom, WA
Aroma – Dark malt flavor, with great chocolate and coffee hints.
Appearance – Dark brown color, clear and a thin head.
Flavor – This was a very chocolaty flavored stout. Huge flavor this was a great beer to drink. Fresh and just a simple pleasure to drink.
Palate – Great Stout Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – This was a great beer. The flavors where strong and deep this beer finishes as good as it starts the deep chocolate and coffee flavors where awesome.

Black. Light bodied for a stout. Roasted warm malt flavour. Touch of sourness. OK but.

Big coffee and chocolate aroma and taste...Pretty sweet. Very tasty. Not overpowering and didn’t seem very alcoholic.

I had this on tap at the Beautiful Pizza in Portland. I has a bit nervous about getting this beer since i haven’t been a fan of their others, but i gave it a try and was pleasently supprised. Very nice smooth stout with chocolate up front and a easy mocha finish. Pours a dark brown, almost black, with a smooth tan head. This was not overdone at all and had a soft roastiness. My only complait was that it was served very cold, but as it warmed the flavors showed much better.
