Clear copper color, huge cloudy off-white head, lace. Quite normal IPA-grassy, a bit grapefruity and almost some barnyardish notes. Nice bitterness, lots of hops. Fresh grapefruity flavors. Not really malty, but reasonably balanced IPA. Long bitter aftertaste. oh6gdx (9008), Vasa, Finland

Poured into a snifter glass, Pours a dark amber/copper color, with a foamy white head. Flavor: Strong hops, pine, and grapefruit.....quite good, but I’m a sucker for IPAs. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Bomber poured into pint glass. This was disappointing. Poured with far too much carbonation, half the glass was foam and had to sit for awhile in order to settle down. The flavor is kinda harsh. I love IPA it is my favorite style, this was not so good. HUGE foam head, aroma of hops, malts, tropic fruits. Flavour was of slight pine resiney malts with a bit of peppery flowers. Bitterness is slightly unrefined, but can still be enjoyed with rest of flavours. Overall a decent IPA, but not memorable. marcus (1885), Sacramento, California, USA
