Bomber poured a clear copper with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine and light orange. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a slightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, citrus and light pine with a crisp lightly dry lingering bitter finish.

Nice balance for an organic IPA. Maybe a touch too much hops. The head was incredible. Nice aroma of piney hops. Best organic IPA ever.

7/6/08 on draught at the Dog and Pony, Renton, Wa. Aroma is very citrusy with a near perfect sweet malt balance. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is a very even sweet malt to earthy hop balance with more citrus and true excellent simplicity. Mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a moderate carb texture and a resiny finish. Overall, a very easy drinking IPA.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a thin but lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of smoke. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of hay, and a very bitter finish.

Now this is bitter. I have to think its a bit more than 73 IBU. Pours dark amber with a white head that foams up and sticks around for a while. Great lacing. Very woody hop flavor - almost as if it were barrel aged. Full of hop bitterness that overpowers the grassy floral hops. Dry and bitter - like I like it.

Bottle. Dark amber with an almost too big lasting head. There is even lacing in the bottle! Delicious hop aroma; flowery with woody tones. Big woody hop taste matches the name. Woody with grapefruit coming coming through the knot holes.

Brought back from Portland by a friend who was nice enough to share. Pours with a slightly cloudy amber-orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s bitter and hopp with a touch of pine and grassy notes...very bitter finish. Meidum bodied, slightly dry and a touch warming.
