| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Can’t believe this is 90th percentile. Maybe the bottle was bad. All four of us dumped most of our glasses. Bitter, rancid, exceptionally dry aroma. Bitterness is overwhelming in the taste with no hop benefits. The hops are thin and bland, and there is almost no malt body. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 30, 2007 An entire night of IPAs was a first for me and was immensely enjoyable. These were my purchases from Liquid Solution and shared with some good friends, as it should be. This one was another fine beer. A thick, frothy head capped off a copper body. Citrus hops was dominant in the aroma and the flavor with the piney hops not as strong as in the others sampled. Caramel was still in evidence lending some sweetness to the flavor and adding a slight facet to the strong hops bitterness that tingled the tongue and lingered after the swallow. IPAs seem mostly to be partaken of in the warm summer months but these IPAs will warm the cockles of your heart year round.

Thankfully the last beer of a five hour sampling. All I wanted at the end of this was a whole pint of IPA & I got a good one here. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Caramel sweetness in the mouthfeel along with some citrus tang and some pine needles. Lingering bitterness in the finish. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Low grapefruit aroma. Low grapefruit/caramel flavor. Nice balance. Not very IPA like. Lingering low hops. Not bad, just want more. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
