Fruit salad aroma, light and sweet grass with some pine. YUM - chinooks are here. Very woody and earthy pinegrab you, lots of grapefruit on the swallow. A perfect blend of sweet and toasted malts. Very creamy and tingly. By golly, this could be my new favorite IPA. Many thanks to André! HopDevil1979 (117), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

This is a hoppier than most brew with a hazy color, small head and intense taste. So much hops it’ll dry you out at times, but that’s OK because its Organic! unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Dark amber colour. Fruity, citric aroma. Fresh and fruity flavour with loads of grapefruity bitterness. Lots of malt, too, getting breadcrusty and toffeeish late. Great balance. Rich and intense, my kind of IPA. Aroma is very citrusy with a near perfect sweet malt balance. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is a very even sweet malt to earthy hop balance with more citrus and true excellent simplicity. Mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a moderate carb texture and a resiny finish. Overall, a very easy drinking IPA. Snojerk321 (1962), San Diego, California, USA

Pours burnt orange with a slight haze, lots of lacing. The nose is very hard to describe. Lots of citrus as well as grass and melon?? Flavor was much of the same. It must be the magnum hops, one variety I’m not too familiar with. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2007 (22oz bottle) Lightly hazed amber body topped by medium beige head with nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, light orange -- nothing extraordinary but very aromatic, really caught my attention. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some orange, caramel. Pretty bitter. Creamy medium body. Could be the best organic IPA I’ve tried. harrisoni (6800), Ashford, Kent, England

I had this down as my 200th rating in my PNW holiday, and it had to be an IPA didn’t it? Hazy copper colour with thin beige head. Intense sherbert grapefruit aroma. Got some good character before big crunching hop shoes kick in. Quite smooth in mouth. I mean it’s a NW IPA, so it does have huge hops. Bit of cat’s pee on aroma. Rather drinkable and with great structure.
