They thought they made a hefe, but the result was strange to say the least. The aroma is among the worst I have ever experienced with its blend of chemistry and mango(?). I seriously had to try not to breath in, while drinking it. The sourness and the yeast are exagerated too. Neither me nor my friend finished the stuff... It must be some kind of mistake... Medium body, clean and malty and - for the style - a surprisingly solid hoppiness. Very atypical Hefe completely lacking the usual banana and clove accents. Is this really made with a Hefe yeast? 060807 Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

Aroma of bread, hops and some fruits (bananas, apples). Fresh hoppy and fruity flavour with plenty of bitterness in the dry finish. A good thirst quencher that is much more hoppy than the average wheat beer.
