Commercial Description:
only on tap at the fishshop/restaurant
Rørvig hvede er en øl med masser af frugt og fylde. Øllet er brygget efter tyske håndbrygger-traditioner med rund hånd af hvede-malt og pilsner-malt, krydret med lige dele tysk samt tjekkisk humle.

What the +#’’¤ has happened here? They thought they made a hefe, but the result was strange to say the least. The aroma is among the worst I have ever experienced with its blend of chemistry and mango(?). I seriously had to try not to breath in, while drinking it. The sourness and the yeast are exagerated too. Neither me nor my friend finished the stuff... It must be some kind of mistake...

bottle, spar odrup. this one was not a good interpretation of hefeweizen. tasted like a draft who had been standing in the glass for a few days at room temperature. reminds me of a homebrew gone wrong. my rating should be lower. german tourists will never buy danish beeer again if they try this.

(On tap) Hazy golden with a small, white head. Discreet aroma with some fruity hoppiness. Medium body, clean and malty and - for the style - a surprisingly solid hoppiness. Very atypical Hefe completely lacking the usual banana and clove accents. Is this really made with a Hefe yeast? 060807

Draught at Rørvig Fisk og Røgeri. Hazy golden coloured. Aroma of bread, hops and some fruits (bananas, apples). Fresh hoppy and fruity flavour with plenty of bitterness in the dry finish. A good thirst quencher that is much more hoppy than the average wheat beer.
