| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours unfiltered brown with a yellow/brown creamy head leaving lacing. aroma of caramel malt, flowery american aroma hops and slight spicy. Flavour is dry and bitter, rising in intensity towards the end. I miss some sweetness in the flavour that the aroma is providing the expectation of. There is a soft malt base beneath though, but also rather dry. MiP (9093), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 20, 2007 Bottle, 6.5%. First thing I notice is that the colour is cloudy/muddy dark brown. By no means orange or amber as other ratings mention. Small head. The aroma is nice and dusty, with fruity hops and with some sweetness, brown sugar. Liquorice mouthfeel. Roasted flavour, good malt bitterness. A tad sweet for a "pale ale", but also with good body. Good dusty aftertaste, and a late, good bitterness, rounding off the beer nicely. A very good beer, albeit IMO not a pale ale. MPA (487), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark

Lots of citrus and hops in the nose and a crisp embrace to boot. I had this with a spicy dish and think some food is required to frame the taste. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange brew with a nice, off-white head leaving nice lacings. The aroma has citrus and hops on a malty background. Hoppy and bitter flavor, with citrus and malt. The aftertaste is the same, and it is a bit thin-bodied. The label states that the brewers know how to make a really fine beer, and that they did so. I can give them right on that, it is a lovely brew, refreshing and quenching, but it is a bit single-tracked and thin. (060616) jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark
