bbf 2009-april-14. sour and citrussy aroma, quite okay, except that i fear it was not intended. warmed up a little. now aroma is acid and sour. bracing self for the tasting part. looks cloudy dark orange, wiht small allmost white head. flavor is citrussy and slightly acid, reminds me of shandy, except this one probably does not contain 50% lemon juice. Sort of refreshing. A second sip after a bit of heating put out flavors i’d rather be without. yuck! palate is truly revolting. the beer seems to bubble up and grow in my moth. Overall i’d say it was plain luck that the infection turned out to be likable in this one. still, i’ll rate it for the taste, not how well it was true to style

Cloudy blond color. At first the aroma shows some nice hop, but immediately followed also by a rather clear sign of infection, that is confirmed at the first sip. Overall I think it may be a pleasant, soft and well hopped beer, with a spicy touch, but the infection makes it impossible to appreciate.

Bottle. High creamy off-white and long lasting head. Hazy orange / red body. Sorry mates but the aroma reminds me of detergents. Maybe I have been unlucky and and got one of the first bottles after you cleaned something. Definately unpleasant. Flavor suggests that I am righ. Really unpleasant. Dishwater / detergents / soap. Low carobnated and long soapy aftertaste. I’ll not mention the ones to be compared but this is definately one of the worst beers I have ever tasted. Bad copy ? maybe but I have to juge what I get.

Tasted 2007-04-04. Fresh bottle, 50 cl. Toffee colour, very dense. Light head - beautiful! Some yeast in the aroma and a hint of flowers. Taste contains yeast, caramel, hops (but not too bitter). Served slightly chilled, this is a very nice beer.
