Bottle at ÅBF08. Distinct anis aroma. Cough syrup. Hazy brown colour. The flavour is distinctly anisy, good malt base, some sweetness. Quite good.

Bottle 50cl.
Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, licorice - anis. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170508)

Let og sødlig smag af frugt (blomme/rosin), stjerneanis (for meget), julekrydderier og lidt karamel. Medium krop. For meget stjerneanis til den noget "tynde" smag.

Amber color. There is some aroma of caramel, cookies and light anis. Medium-thin mouthfeel, sweet caramel flavor, some anis, cookies; low bitterness. Not my kind, but correctly brewed.

Dark bronze with a malty aroma with a lot of anise. The flavour has sweetness, notes of anise, a bit of alcohol, malt and the anise develops slightly dry and rather dominant. You need to be very fond of anise to fully appreciate this beer.
