Mar 23, 2008 Bright bottled at Thanet Easter Beer Fest. The Winter Gardens, Margate. Dull orange colour. Pleasant best bitter. Moderate hops, restrained fruit with some faint toffee. Nothing assertive and pleasantly drinkable with a lingering English hop finish.

Jan 6, 2008 I had this out of a bottle and had never heard of the brewery or ale before, but was very impressed. Very hoppy and crisp with quite a bit of carbonation - very enjoyable, if more of a summer ale. If I could find somewhere that sold it, I would certainly get a lot more of this.

Cask at the Wenlock (I think). Orangey hued bitter. Fresh hoppy aroma and flavour with a little citric character. Lovely crisp fresh finish. Straight forward but does it does very well.

Mar 5, 2007 Cask, General Elliot, South Hinksey in southwest Oxford. Bright copper, sticky layer of fine white. Honey and fresh cut grass aroma--bright and interesting. Clean, soft apricot malt, gentle carbonation, a little greenish spring hops. Delicate, bright palate. Really nice fresh tasting pint, served in good shape.

Apr 16, 2006 Updated: May 12, 2008Cask gravity at Chambers Easter Festival, Folkestone. Deep gold, bubbly off white head. Some citrus and pale malt in mouth which is both juicy and stale at the same time. Finish disappears quickly. Bit of cardboard too. 2.5/5.0
Re-rate, cask handpull at The Star Inn, St Mary in the Marsh. Wow this really blew me away. Perfect after a long bike ride on a blisteringly hot day, perfect condition, perfect hops, perfect body.
