SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 31, 2008 4 oz. sample @ brewpub - pale gold and clear, but pretty fizzy going down; aromas mainly of yeast, some sweet hops and banana; earthy too; drinks sweet and dry; one the bland side overall with slight spice in the finish Taverner (435), San Ramon, California, USA May 21, 2008 Brisk, watery and Corona-ish. Nose is yeast, a metallic smell and light hop. Pours yellow with not much head. Wulfstan (434), California, USA May 13, 2008 Updated: Jun 9, 2008I had this on tap. It’s a nice, aromatic pilsner. It is golden with a fairly good white head that lasts a bit. It has aromatic grain and light bread in aroma and flavour with mostly citrusy hops backed up with some grassiness. The light sweetness accents the dominant but smooth bitterness and it has a strongly aromatic grain finish after the hop bite. It’s nice and reminiscent somewhat of Moonlight Reality Czech, although not quite up to that level to me. riversideAK (1570), Shoreline, Washington, USA May 6, 2008 Pale yellow gold color with a decent head. Light bready sweetness in aroma and flavor. A good amount of bready notes with grass and peppery hops. Nice and hoppy, with a crisp finish. Nice pils. Davecooks (1142), Bay Area, California, USA Apr 16, 2008 Draft @ Rubicon. Pale yellow with a frothy, bright white head. Toasted and grainy malt aromas with a subtle hop spiciness. Clean and malty. Cereal notes. Pretty strong hop bitterness. Finishes dry with a lingering toast flavor.
