Commercial Description:
Reddish copper in color, our Amber is brewed with a blend of Pale, Crystal, and Munich Malts. The slightly sweet, roasted flavor of the malts is ballanced with ample additions of Cascade hops, producing a classic American Amber Ale.

Now contract brewed by Ruby Mountain: Beige label of the saloon with a dripping blood bucket in the middle: Pours a transparent dark bronze copper with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, grainy pale malt and grapefruity hops. Body is thinner and lightly sweet with a decent bittering and flavor hop balance before a drier, lightly toasty finish. Seems like an APA to me.

Copper/amber color with light sticky head & lacing. The aroma is maty with toffee, nuts & some caramel/butterscotch, maybe a little diactyl. Light but noticable hops. The flavor has a good body & balance to hold up the sweet/hops. Finishes a bit on the bitter side with a lasting tail. Not too bad, very decent amber.

A hazy golden amber ale with a thick dissipating white head. Pleasant light floral hops, with notes of strawberry jam. In mouth, a decent yet light ale with light mineral notes, short floral hops, a bit too short. Light to medium bodied. Not bad. Bought at Booze Bros, August 2007. Sampled May 26 2008.

There's a caramel nose here on a dark copper beer with a firm head. Despite the average amber flavors, this is a nice beer and the bitter finish rescues it from mediocrity.

Appearance: Pours a clearish, amber body with a wispy, off-white head. Smell: Soapy, citrusy aroma with some light caramel malts. Taste: Some pale malts with a little sweetness, but really not much malt character. Medium hop bitterness. Finishes with a sour citrus flavor. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Watery. Drinkability: Another average amber.

A very malty aroma. Taste is dominated by malts throughout. Not my style of beer. The hops are hiding.
