Commercial Description:
A blend of the finest malted wheat, pale and munich malts, gives this unfiltered Hefeweizen style Wheat its golden color and signature flavor. Late kettle hopping produces hop flavors and aromas that balance perfectly with the distinctive malt character.

Bottle. Pours with a slight haze and head that seem to disapate to more clarity quickly. Nice hefe flavor, sweet banana and bubblegum with a tinge of citrus. Mouthfeel, unfortunately, is on the thin side. I would have prefered more of a creamy sensation. However, I thought this was a nice refreshing summer quencher.

Bottle courtesy of BrewDad and his wife! Alas, the elusive Nevada rating has been achieved. Slightly hazy gold. Small white froth bunched up on one side of the glass. Nose is huge banana and bubblegum. Yeast, lemon slices and soft wheat aromas come through as well. Taste on this just hits the spot, really. More bubblegum (kind of like the stale kind in baseball cards sets from when I was a kid), banana, lemon notes, wheat, and light yeast. Pretty standard hefeweizen but is rather well done. Body is light and refreshing. Mild carbonation. Finishes with a breadier wheat flavor, light lemon, stronger yeast notes, and candyish fruits. Nice!

[Bottle - Thanks to my Wife for getting it for me] A nce hasy golden yellow color with a light head. This had a very light aroma and a nice flavor. Has some crispness to it and the beer was a very nice addition to dinner. A very nice beer.

12oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert! - Thanks Craig! - Pours golden cloudy with a short white head that fades quickly. Aromas of clove and light bannana. Flavor is bannana, bubblegum, some clove. Good light crisp and clean palate. Not overly carbonated but enough to give it a refreshing mouthfeel. I think this is a fine hefeweizen that rivals the German brewed beers of this style. Better than anticipated for sure!

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy, but mostly clear gold color. It says it is unfiltered, but seems too clear for me. Very thin white head, really just a ring around the glass. Aromas of mostly banana, something sweet like bubblegum and some nuts. Taste is at first dominated by sweet bananas, like banana bubblegum, nice. Some cloves chime in. Not much of a finish. Thin and light. Good hot weather beer. Not bad.

bottle - Pours a hazy straw color with a light white head. Has a huge banana and yeast aroma. Flavor is much of the same. Light body and mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Hard to find, but worth a try. A real nice German Hefe.

Normally I drink Weihenstephaner, which I believe is the best example of a great hefeweizen. This is, however, one of the best American brewed hefeweizens I’ve tried. Strong banana flavor and a mild head. Very good, domestic, summer brew.

Hazy blond color. What aroma, lightly fruity. Light flavor, watery, abit fruity (banana), too light.
