wyzzywyz22 (330), Wirral, Merseyside, England Jul 7, 2008 Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Poured a dark orange colour with a thin off white head. Malty, caramel aroma. Some hop in the flavour and yet more malt. Dryish finish. Pretty unspectacular, but drinkable.
yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 28, 2008 Bottle, thx to Tarjei. Pours a clear, copper body under a minimal beige head. Quite bready maltyness with some fruity hops in the aroma. Bready, toffeeish flavor with some fruity hops leaving just a little bitterness. Medium to full body. Toffeeish and bready finish. A quite nice beer, but I would like more emphasis on the hops. Both hoppy flavors and bitterness could be higher I think. (080731) gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 22, 2008 Bottle. Dark golden colour with a white head. Goes down very easily, nothing bad about it, but otherwise entirely unmemorable - possibly a good session beer?
