Commercial Description:
Our flagship beer is 5.8% alc. Deep amber in color, and slightly cloudy, this beer is remarkably smooth. We "dry-hop" this ale in the conditioning tank meaning fresh hops are added after fermentation to steep and add a subtle fruity nose. The yeast for this beer was custom created and cultured for us by a lab in Oregon, insuring a one-of-a-kind experience found in no other micro.

Bottle pours a slightly hazed amber with a small white head that leaves some lace. The aroma is of hops and amber sweetness - smells great. The flavor is sweet, yeasty, fruity, peaches, malty, white pepper, caramel, and sugar cookies. The flavor has it all - much more interesting than most Amber Ales. The palate rocks as it is rich and cleansing. This is a real good Amber! I’ll get this again.

Hazy, light umber color with a few "swinkles" floating about. Moderate, stable light ecru head. Nice hoppy nose. Hints of light fruit, toasted malt and caramel as well. The flavors return to the ambers to which I am accustomed. Light fruit and caramel start. Middle has a touch of orange citrus as the hops start top move in. Finish has some toasted malt and a little more fruit ( in the form of apricots and raisins). LInger has a woody hops and bit of acidity. Overall a slightly hoppier amber and better than many.

[Bottle] Pours a hazy caramelly copper color with a moderate beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, citric hops, caramel malt, and toffee. Flavor follows pretty well, with a medium mouthfeel, and a nice lingering bitterness.

Pours a semi cloudy amber orange with a smallish white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with fresh grapefruit, pine hop and caramel malt. Flavor has a good malt backbone as well as a decent amount of hops for the style. Nice fruity aspect as well. Medium bodied, sticky textured. Somewhat long bitter finish.r.

This is a good amber. From the tap at the Hammond Hotel in Hammond, WI. Very sessionable, very good accompaniment to good food and good times.
