Cheap malt sweetness partnered with slightly stale hops, bitter with little character. Good carbonation, crisp body. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Pours a clear deep orange with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s a bit odd, not bad, just odd, might be herbs (?) that I can’t place along with hops and caramel malt. Watery flavour of resiny hops, caramel malt and something there, again that I can’t place, that’s bugging me -- I’m not loving this. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Just O.K. Clear peach-amber, small frothy head. Floral aroma, some alcohol, overripe tropical fruit & acetone. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Had to pick a bottle of this up. For the kitsch if nothing else (that and the fact that the stamp on the bottle says it’s 5 days old). The guy I bought it from in Vancouver, BC said it was almost embarrassing that it existed. Pours a nice amber with a decent off-white head. Hops on the nose - good blend of citrus and pine, with caramel malts to counter. Flavor lacks a bit in the hop category - doesn’t pull through on the aroma. More malty than I’d like, and slightly metallic. Decent mouthfeel, but there’s nothing to write home about here. Still - better than I expected. daknole (2972), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Bottle. Light amber color. Aroma is very straight forward. Caramel malt, citrus and floral hops. Nothing mind blowing here, but still a clean and respectable brew. Flavor is a combo of caramel malt with a fair dose of hops. Again, not amazing...but worth drinking.
