Strong artificial lemon aroma, with dirty yeast notes in the background. Thin bodied. Flavour has a lot of lemon, much less artificial than the aroma suggests (yeah, I thought just the opposite of jerc...). Not amazing, but relatively refreshing. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, yellow orange body with quick white bubbles. Flavour is lemon slices and a little yeast. Light body has some bubbles and acidity. Interesting to try but not in a repeatable way.

(6+) Flavour is very lemony, but seems a touch more artificial than did the aroma, not much of a base beer. (6+) Average to light body. Actually not bad, shandy like, but has not much depth to it. Could see this being a summery cocktail?

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2007 It’s been years since I tried this one at its prime, when it first came out. I had it more recently and it was horrible--either the recipe changed or it was served poorly. I recall loving the graham cracker-like flavor, making the beer taste like lemon merangue pie. One step above most BC summer ales. Surprisingly nuanced for what it is, and highly drinkable. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 5, 2007 Hazy and yellow with minimal head. Aroma and flavour are both lemon overdose. Sweet, kind of like a leomande beer. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 18, 2006 (Draught) Sampled at Christie’s Carriage House in Victoria. I’m guessing that this beer is highly susceptable to temperature change as I found this to be a terrible brew. The lemon was somewhat candy like Vicks Cough Drops and watery lemon Gatorade mixed. It was overly watery yet somewhat intensely sweet. Absolute garbage. joss (3681), Garching b. München, Germany

Very sweet and candyish aroma. Papery malt base ovelaid with candy. Flat dry aftertaste. Light, watery body. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 28, 2005 Pale golden yellow colour with faint haze. Nice sweet lemony aroma and a touch of leathery yeastiness underneath, but much cleaner yeast than they used to have. Flavour is also dominated by lemon and light malt. Better than I would have thought.
