Butterscotch is the strongest note in an otherwise mild aroma. Hazy blonde body is topped by a low, white, fully diminishing head. Stale flavour is papery. No fruit, no hops, no malt really stand out. Vague sweetness lingers. Light body is watery in texture with little or no carbonation to be found. Sampled on cask at Dix (Caskival 2007).

Hazy blonde. Peach, bread, diacetyl in the aroma. Very light body and flavour. Some mild bread and yeastiness. Only hints at spice, and there’s hardly any fruit at all. In my experience, you need to shove a whole peach tree into a brew to get any flavour out of those things, so this isn’t too big a surprise.
