Flavor was like spiced Sprite and grain. Seemed anemic, especially in color. Pilsner malt indeed. TampaBrew (867), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 16, 2009 On tap @ the brewpub. Clear yellow with a small white head, fading to a film. Aroma of biscuity malts. Flavor has a slightly earthy biscuity malt presence up front. Bitterness peaks @ a 3 in the slightly biscuity finish. Light body, moderate prickly carbonation. It is what it is. Taverner (870), San Ramon, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Tap at the brewpub: Very pale golden pour with a dense white lacing head. Mild and dry aroma- crackery, grassy and crisp, quite nice. Light and fluffy on the palate. Dry flavor- crackery base under grassy light lemony hop notes (tastes like a noble variety). Dry throughout and crisp. I can drink this all day! SamGamgee (1465), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. Light yellow with a creamy white head. Clean doughy, bready malt aroma. Light bready malt profile with a surprisingly ample, spicy hop balance. Light bodied and crisp with smooth carbonation. Considering that this was the "lightly hopped" of their two blond ales, I was surprised at the nice, spicy hop flavor. Great balance, and somewhat reminiscent of a pilsener. Top notch choice for a session beer. marcus (1896), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2009 On tap at the brewery. The keg was tapped out from the previous evening, so I waited for a new one. It poured light blonde with a fluffy white head, and had a fresh floral aroma. The pilsner malt was tasty, but the overall flavor is a bit flat. The flavor, though, is saved with some nice hopping. y0cola (361), fremont, California, USA
