Apr 22, 2008 Admittedly it’s difficult to rate this beer next to all the other RRs. It’s a good crisp Blonde, but it pales a bit standing against those Belgians and IPAs.

Mar 24, 2008 This is a very nice, complex, very flavourful, yet light and refreshing beer. It is gold, with slow, steady, constant, even streams of bubbles and a medium, but lasting, creamy white head that leaves lots of rich, even lace. It smells of fruit, grain, crackers, with hints of citrus, yeast, and herbs. The taste is simlar, with a distinct fruity quality, plenty of lightly toasted grain, citrus, crackers, a hint of yeast and herbs. It is lightly sweet and bitter with great balance and a light sour hint added in. Although light, it is full of a lot of wonderful flavours and it is very satisfying.

Feb 17, 2008 1/3/08 with BikesandBeer, 9th Brewery of the trip, 2nd of the Day. Finally got to come here. Pours gold with a bright white ring head. Nose is light and hoppy. Taste is sweet light and fruity.

Dec 24, 2007 On tap at Russian River - Golden color with a light head. Aroma is a bit malty, a bit citrusy, and a tad yeasty. Flavor is light and malty with some light citrus and assorted sweet fruits, subtle hops, and a clean finish. Not bad/

Nov 27, 2007 On tap at Russian River. Light golden-yellow color with a thin, quickly disappearing head. Light malty aroma with a bit of spiciness, citrus, and some yeast. Flavors were very sugary and malty with a lot of witbier-like spiciness with a touch of hops coming through toward the finish. A nice balance of soft sticky sweetness and clean dry bitterness. Damn good, it seems Russian River can do no wrong.

Nov 19, 2007 On tap at Russian River brewery. For some reason this beer did not agree with my taste. I found that the lighter color and appearance did, in fact, correlate strongly with a lighter flavor. Clear champagne gold color with some sparkling carbonation. I could barely detect any aromas of hops, mostly just the pilsner malt notes taking over. Weak and watered-down flavor, just some citrus and hops playing around at the finish, and no character to the palate. Nothing much else for me to say here.

Oct 17, 2007 Draft. A light blonde ale with a white fluffy head. Citrus and spice aromas, banana, eucalyptus, mild finish. Quaffable.
